31 Language learning suggestions This is a tip for learning irregular verbs. Below is a chart divided into rectangles. Each rectangle contains the infinitive of an irregular verb. Photocopy and enlarge the chart and cut the copy along the lines, so that you have a set of rectangular pieces of paper, each with the infinitive of a verb written on it. Then you take a rectangle out at random and test yourself on that verb. You may want to write the correct form on the back so that you can check. Carry them with you and, in odd moments, as you wait for a bus or at the dentist’s, work on three or four.
